1. What We Use, and Why
We keep this deliberately short, because we keep the list itself short — Walking With AI doesn't run third-party ad-tracking or cross-site marketing cookies of any kind.
Authentication (essential): When you sign in, we set a session cookie that identifies you to the server on future requests. Without it, you'd be signed out on every page load. This cookie is essential to the Service and can't be turned off without disabling sign-in.
Preferences (local storage): We use your browser's local storage — not a cookie sent to our servers — to remember things like your volume level, mute state, and what's in your play queue, so they persist between visits. This data stays on your device.
Gameplay state (local storage): Our mini-games use local storage for things like in-progress settings and, for admin accounts only, testing toggles. This never leaves your device either.
2. What We Don't Use
We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising, third-party ad networks, or selling your browsing activity to anyone. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Fonts and a small number of external libraries are loaded from third-party CDNs (for example, Google Fonts) to render the site correctly. These requests may involve the CDN provider's own minimal technical logging, governed by their own policies — we don't control what they log, only that we don't pass them anything beyond what's needed to serve the asset.
4. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking our authentication cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in from working; clearing local storage will reset your saved volume/queue preferences. Neither will break the parts of the Service that don't require an account, like listening to the radio or browsing the Discover feed.
